Through first-hand experiences, we create better stewards of the environment
Spearhead Project Earth is a Bucks County–based nonprofit advancing environmental science, education, and ecosystem restoration throughout the Delaware River watershed. In partnership with NOAA’s Marine Debris Monitoring and Assessment Project, we collect standardized scientific data that helps track pollution trends, identify sources of marine debris, and support informed conservation efforts. By combining shoreline restoration with environmental monitoring, we generate meaningful data while engaging volunteers in hands-on stewardship and scientific research.
Education is at the core of our mission. Through partnerships with the Pennsbury School District and other community organizations, SPE creates immersive learning experiences that connect students and volunteers to environmental science through outdoor classrooms, habitat restoration, native planting, water quality and debris monitoring, pollinator education, and sustainable gardening. By integrating research, restoration, and education, we inspire the next generation of environmental leaders while helping protect and restore the Delaware River for future generations.
