5/5/24: YAK ATTACK ON BURLINGTON ISLAND

Join us May 5th, 2024 from 12pm-4pm for the Yak Attack on Burlington Island Clean-Up event where we will be teaming up with the "It's Better Outdoors" group. We are excited to welcome volunteers to sign up while spots are still available, as we are limiting the group to a maximum of 50 people. Volunteers are required to bring their own kayaks and meet at the Burlington Municipal Boat Ramp punctually. The event will officially commence after everyone safely arrives at the meet-up location on the island. Together, we will collect trash and recyclables, engage in learning sessions about the island and the detrimental effects of plastic pollution in our waterways, as well as embark on an exploration of the stunning island to discover its hidden gems.
